Hello.
I have worked as an NHS doctor for nearly 20 years with a wide variety of interests and experiences. I'm intrigued by how closely the body and mind are connected and Western Medical Acupuncture training has helped me explore this extensively. I was so impressed with the results treating my general practice patients that I established a private acupuncture clinic 2 years ago.
Yoga has been an important part of my life since university. I took a deep-dive 7 years ago to train as a yoga teacher and have guided gentle and restorative classes ever since. Practising and teaching yoga has deepened my knowledge of the human body and the benefits of breathwork, meditation and somatic experiences. I enjoy exploring that fascinating place where science overlaps with ancient wisdom, and we are all saying the same thing in different ways.
Most recently I discovered Transformational Coaching and now offer this too, as a means to help people gain clarity and creativity in their thinking. Coaching outdoors with nature as a backdrop feels good for my soul. Weaving all of these skills together allows me to take a whole-person approach... acknowledging that brain and body, and the wider world, are all connected.
