40 Minute appointment. In Electroacupuncture the needles are connected to a small electroacupuncture device which transmits a mild electrical current between the needles. This is completely safe, but can intensify the treatment. You will be shown how to control the intensity on the device so that you are in control. Needles are typically left in place for 10-20 minutes. Please note: Electroacupuncture is a very safe therapy. The acupuncture that I offer is intended to complement other treatments rather than replace them. In this context I am working as a medical acupuncturist and not as your doctor; please continue to consult with healthcare professionals as you would do normally.
